Save Cenla Neighbors Helping Neighbors Supply Drive

From 8:00AM to 5:00PM

SaveCenla will be holding a Neighbors helping Neighbors supply drive from now until Tuesday(Sept. 8th) afternoon. We are looking for anything you think you might need if you found yourself without power and water for a few weeks. Anything from water, babywipes, canned food, gas cans, extension cords, generators etc.  Any monetary donations will be used to fill gas cans or buy supplies. Items can be dropped off  at 5 locations. Cooyons Grocery in Dupont, Shawn's Supercenter in Hessmer, Bunkie General Hospital in the pharmacy or the fitness center, Cottonport Corner Drug Store and Sears Hometown Store in Marksville.  Saturday  Sept. 5th at Iron’s Gym for 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Monday(Sept7th)and Tuesday(Sept8th) SaveCenla will have a tent set up in the parking lot of Detel in Mansura from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm to accept donations.

Big Block Foundation Christmas Toy Giveaway

From 10:00AM to 12:00PM

The Big Block Foundation is sponsoring a Christmas Toy Giveaway at the Holy Ghost Church Gym on December 22nd from 10 am to noon*.  The event is a drive-thru toy giveway for children ages 3-12.  Children must be present to receive a gift.
