Early Voting - Avoyelles Parish

From 3:00AM to 1:00PM

EARLY VOTING in AVOYELLES

You do not need a reason to vote early! All voters may vote early, just like they are voting on Election Day. Voters who want to vote early for any election may do so in person at the Avoyelles Parish Courthouse in Marksville.

The registrars of voters will open their offices from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. for each day of early voting.

When you go to the polls to cast your vote in an election, be sure to take one of the following:

a driver's license,
a Louisiana Special ID,
LA Wallet digital driver's license,
a United States military identification card that contains the applicant's name and picture, or
some other generally recognized picture ID that contains your name and signature.

Voters who have no picture ID may complete and sign a Voter Identification Affidavit in order to vote; however, it is subject to challenge by law.

Big Block Foundation Christmas Toy Giveaway

From 10:00AM to 12:00PM

The Big Block Foundation is sponsoring a Christmas Toy Giveaway at the Holy Ghost Church Gym on December 22nd from 10 am to noon*. The event is a drive-thru toy giveway for children ages 3-12. Children must be present to receive a gift.
